I had my wind deflector off for a while, and while it virtually eliminates the sun roof wind, I had pretty bad wind noise and vibrations at freeway speeds. Now if I use the sunroof it’s usually half open. That way air is not pushing directly on your head. Also, if you have all the windows up...

Do you have a sunroof? If so you’ll notice more air getting pushed through the sunroof, but only with the windows open. I love the rack, but this is my only complaint.

For Sale: Front Runner 1762mm(L) Side profiles and 1 cross bar. This converts the standard 8 slat 3/4 roof rack for the 5th gen 4 runner to a 9 slat. This adds about 8 inches of to the front of the rack. Would prefer a local sale in the Los Angeles area, but would consider shipping. Asking $80.
