Haven't checked the MAF. How do you test that? I have a cheap shop manual and it's not very comprehensive on what to cheap for idle problems. The valve itself seems to be working fine. I'll check again to be sure it has power.

I have a P505 code. I pulled the IAC motor, tested it. Seems to be working fine. What else is there to check? Idle is high most of the time (1600rpm), but sometimes drops to 600 rpm.

Re: 4wd won't disengage Unfortunately that's not the problem I am having. The 4wd actually will NOT disengage whether you have 4wd selected or not.

Crap! how much of that $1625 is labor? I plan on fixing it myself. How much was the part or actuator? There must be a way to manually move the actuator to get it out of 4wd.

Have had a chance to work on it yet. Just putting it off. I did post in Yotatech w/o much success. I believe it's that front axle solenoid that is getting stuck. That's what I figure from reading through the shop manual.

No one has had this problem?
