For what it's worth We have an older Sequoia with the 4.6 and that motor has 180K and hasn't given us any issues for 140K (bought it with 40k miles). That motor moves the Sequoia pretty well and I think it would be perfect in the 4runner. If they ever offer it again I'll trade in my V6 for...
