Agreed - an 'answer' to a question nobody asked, I'd say go with the tried and true.

Replaced the timing belt, waterpump, thermostat, seals, and radiator. Followed Timmy The Toolman's video step by step and went pretty smoothly, though it didn't all happen in one day.

Bought a 1999 limited recently with 221xxx on it, California car that made it's way out east. It was in pretty good shape, decent service records and no significant rust on the frame.
