How bad could they possible screw up the spare tire cable. I would like to think they could get that right. FYI, I have heard some terrible things about that dealership since I had my experience with them. It's sad because the vehicle has run great up to this point with only minor wear problems.
This was the dealer in Auburn..... but I have had problems with the dealer in Attleboro as well. FYI they said that I had a problem with my tire cable and wanted $300 to fix the problem. I can't believe that the 4runners are not part of the recall.
That is just pathetic.
I talked to my parents today about the problems I am having and they said that is why they will never buy a Toyota.... because the local dealer stinks.
I bought a Toyota because of all the problems I had with a Ford I bought in 1999. It s*** the bed in 2004 at 140,000...

Why doesn't the dealer know about something like this? After I called they should have informed me to do this simple exercise. They could only tell me to bring the car in again.
And they argued with me about why they were not the ones that screwed up the back wiper.
