Thinking of swapping my 3.slow in my 94.. I want something that has good acceleration but gets decent gas mileage. I don't want any thing fancy, just a solid motor that can get me around and in good time. Any suggestions?

I didn't read other comments, so I don't know if this was mentioned or not. The auto trans is only 3 gears + overdrive. The auto transmission will not shift into overdrive until the engine is up to temperature, which usually takes a few minuets. Just something to think about.

Be very careful not to touch your door handles with the stripe off wheel. It will mess with the look of them.

3M® 7498 - Stripe Off Wheel | O'Reilly Auto Parts They aren't cheap, but if your stripe is like mine was it will save you hours. I spent about six hours with the heat gun and fingers, and only got about half of the stripe off. With the wheel I got the rest off in about 15 min.

Depends on how messed up the stripe is. If it is in good shape a heater gun and fingers should work well. If it is sun faded and cracked ( like mine was), an eraser wheel is the best solution.

For what I understand, you should be able to just unplug the vaccum lines and replace them with a cap over the nipples. There are a few lines that have a bigger diameter hose, I am not sure if I can cap these or if they have to stay on.

I want to get rid of every single vacuum line if I can..

The vacuum lines are there to improve emissions, not make the engine run better. I was told I would still pass emissions without them, therefor I don't really need them.
