I looked at a 14 4Runner and still felt no desire to get rid of my 03. I don't like the high up door controls, don't like the look of the steering wheel with the fake plastically look and I don't like the V6 only thing. At the end of the day we are all 4Rnr fans. It's just a matter of flavour.

If you don't want white then look and get what you want, just don't discount it as an option if the vehicle is in good shape. I assume you will be making changes to suit your needs/taste anyway.

I'd have to disagree with fdbyrne on this point. I had the Monroe quick struts in my truck for 6 months before I replaced them. I hated them. Too soft and it felt like I was riding a hobby horse evey dip and bump in the road. I am not a hard core off-roader, but I do go onto gravel side...

If you're ordering from Canada, except the lower mainland, you will want to get this blend if it's offered on the site from the above post if you want to stick with OEM.

If you use NKG plugs, don't use anti-seize. They already have a coating and there is a bulletin on their web site concerning it.

At this point it might be the best route taking it to the dealer to have it done and the plug changed out unless you find a reliable mechanic in your area. Obviously it's overdue. Pricey, but at least in the future you can do it yourself or have another mechanic do it without the heartache...

I know this is an old thread, and I am getting old but my memory isn't too bad yet I hope. The top "dot" or mark on the dipstick indicates Full. The bottom "dot" indicates Low (approx. 1 qt). Adding a qt when it is just below the top mark will overfill the system by about 1 qt and can cause...

The bottom one looks like a V6 skid. The V8's should have the screening like your originals.

I am running studded Nokian Hakkapelita 7's. No issues with tire wear from gravel roads. This will be my 4th winter on them, great tire. My son has the Hak 8's on his Taco and that's what will replace mine when it's time.
