I have the same problem sometimes with my auto shifter. Sometimes it doesnt light up at all. It is annoying in the dark. Do your interior lights work at all? New bulb/fuse?

I followed the write up, so I did few coats of: -Self etching primer -Sandable primer -PlastiKote wheel paint color #626 -clear coat The color is actually darker than what I was trying for, but it works.

I cant imagine sanding all that by hand, ouch. I was just looking at my rims again and that picture actually looks worse then they are. Maybe it was the way the ligth hit them. I just hope they last awhile now.

I would not recommend sanding/removing the pitting by hand unless that paint remover stuff stated above works. I pretty much spent a day on each rim(cleaning & painting). I just used a wire brush on a drill and a dremel for hard to get to places, it was a pain in the ass though. I also painted...
