Finally finished painting and mounting my Winters!

After a visit to the wreckers, I picked up 4 OEM split spoke alloy rims, OEM roof rack, and a front grille, I spent a week sanding the rims and painted them the other night. Today, I had them mounted. This weekend I plan on mounting the roof rack. When I find the time, I'll do the grille mod. I plan on taking "BigFishAllDay" s' lead and using my OEM colour for the grille frame and black gloss for the screening...

Took it hunting today. We got a small 6pointer (110lb field dressed) which unfortunately I didn't get to shoot be we share the meat between the party at least. Hope to get another next weekend!

Replaced steering rack bushings and front and rear sway bar bushings. The front bushings were toast! I didn't necessarily expect it, but it fixed my vibration in the 50-60 mph range. Also tightened everything up real nice. I'm real happy with the outcome.

Replaced the battery, MegaTron Plus. Replaced drivers side inner tie rod. Bought lifetime wheel alignment and tire balancing. Drives MUCH better now!!

Went hunting as well and got to test out my 35'' km2s loving it and tagged a 200lb 8 pointer with my new 30-06

Coated my rockers with Monstaliner today. Awesome stuff. It has texture without a rough surface like other bedliner products. Just have to wait another day for it to cure enough to put the trim back on. Now I'm excited to get the new chrome Nerf bars on.

Added spacers to the rear coils to take care of a bit of sag from a CBI OffRoad bumper that I put on a few weeks ago! Getting heavy duty end links built...

Nope. It's actually not that exciting of a mod, if you can even call it a mod. It will serve a purpose for me though. Don't get excited. You will be let down when I finally finish it.

bought a glass mounted antenna so I can disable the auto mast (OE Antenna) remove it and see about "shaving" the antenna. .

Planned on finishing up the de-rustification of the frame today. Burned through my wire wheel in less then half of what I wanted to get done. So still have some to go.

So primed painted and undercoated that. And then removed the running boards finally. Looks pretty good to me.

I'll get some pics of the frame tomorrow.
