Too much information, and it's confusing.
Just trying to get a simple answer. I have a 4th Gen with the smaller calipers. I can get 16" wheels from the U-Pull it but They don't know what fits.

Not a smaller tire, just a smaller wheel. Overall diameter would be much the same. If you've ever driven through Northeast PA, the roads are horrible. More sidewall is a little better on bad roads riddled with potholes ...wont handle quite as well but not a problem .

I have an 08 SR5 , after looking, my calipers are NOT the larger ones.
I have 17" wheels now, I want a set of 16" wheels for winter.
There is a large "U-Pull it" locally .
What years 4Runner or Tacoma's 16" wheels will fit ?

2 things. The fact that they stopped making 4.0 Cherokee's which are getting harder and harder to find decent ones ...and the fact that Toyotas generally are the most durable and long lasting cars one can buy.
