Alrighty, so I found out that when the bedliner was sprayed on the rig, the masking was a little too close and the weatherstrip was hanging on up on the bedliner when trying to place it. Little filing and smoothing down and they went in like ya'll say they did. Thanks!

Yes, looking at the photos again, that's my fault; I should have wiped the rain down so you folks can see better. I'll take some better photos tomorrow. I did take the screw off for the pictures - but the plastic shaped "J" which goes down the entire length of the weatherstrip is not grabbing...

Thanks for the info boys. Yes I knew it was not a stock Toyota color, but just curious what it may be, and the more I look at it, the more it looks like a vinyl wrap. I'll dig through some paint code books and see if something is similar. Maybe a Datsun brown or something. :thanks:

I second the Dobinsons setup - got mine from Exit. Installed bumpers, sliders, etc. and had to lift the rig as she was sagging a bit. It's dialed in real nicely and works great. I know you are stock with no lift, but Exit would have a setup for that as well. Give him a call.

Can one switch from keyless to keyed start (there is still a key to unlock the driver's door, at least on the keyless 4Runners I've seen) on the 2017-2022 by swapping out the keyless steering column with a keyed column? I just don't like keyless start - I'd rather have something manual.
