I've got one. But it suffered front ball joint failure. 1000$. New tires. 2 inch lift. missing front left tire. Going to need at least 1000$ in repair. But this would be a chance to customize a suspension.

And shortly after posting this, the drivers side blew. So, I will be trying the "Boot Streching" here when i go for replacement.

So, I lifted my 97 limited, using 2 inch Daystars blocks, with the intention of later on down the road going with a full coil over and rear spring setup. Also I dropped the front axel 1 inch to help with the CV Boot angle. Well, I have so far replaced the front CV Boots once this month, and...

One day.... things will be better, and i will have a 4 runner AND a tacoma.

No more truck payment is awesome! But i already found myself looking for a lift, the 4runner is my 4 door 4x4. I have a gas saver that i use to get back and forth to work.

Due to unforeseen financial issues, and some other crap, I had to sell my 2011 Tacoma :sadwave:, but, in the deal, I picked up a 1997 4runner :hello:. So, it works out in the end. Now I just need some Marylanders to go trail riding with!!
