After a day of working on the farm, mostly moving a trailer full of fire wood from point a to b, and a little off roading, I was heading home for some frosty beverages. The front end felt heavy, like the front axel was still engaged and in 4x4. I drove to the end of the street to get a space to re-enguage the 4x4 and back up to unlock. Well, I didn't make it to the end of the street. The "heavy" feeling was the lower ball joint failing, and that took the upper with it. The entire front end was rebuilt 4 years ago, upper and lower bushing, all 4 ball joints, 3 inch lift, New brakes, drop axel, and CV joints. Not a daily driver. Nothing to serious off road. Just a good trailer puller, and great get around.
Going to need a new tire, ball joints, lower control arm, ABS sensor, and the fender sheet metal is severely displaced and running the drivers door.
