    Misfire on #6

Put the new plug in, buttoned everything up and so far it's running good with no codes. If that solved the issue I'll feel like I've won the lottery. I'll give it 100 miles and if there's no issues I'm going to change all the plugs and wires and call it a repair. Id like to hear opinions on...

    Misfire on #6

So I'll post this up for tips and for the reference of any future member that may have the same issue. I was planning on selling the 4runner to get a tundra a month or so back, but got flamed on here for not posting enough info in my thread so I deleted it. Since then I've decided to keep the...

What is the longest commute you would deal with?

I totally understand. I have free reign were I'm at, but no control. I could take off whenever I want, but I get no satisfaction there. My boss doesn't get involved in my work for 95% of the project, then wants to know whats going on and why I did stuff a certain way. I get no feedback, and...

What is the longest commute you would deal with?

It's pretty much down to this or work for myself. I suppose if this place was awesome to work for, I could move.

What is the longest commute you would deal with?

Well I'm not sure about the money yet. It may be a bit more than now, but not by too much. I have four options right now. Take this job and see how it works out. They did say working from home a few days a week is an option, and if it didn't work out they would understand and let me continue...

What is the longest commute you would deal with?

So I may have a job offer soon at a company that seems like a great place to work. I've heard good things about it from former employees, however, it will increase my commute from 25 miles one way to 80 miles one way. Basically, I'll be going from a 40 minute commute to 1 hr 20 min. I will...

Gas Mileage and what not BS.

I commute about 50 miles a day. I was a little worried when I purchased the 4runner because about half of the commute is rural, hilly roads, and the other half is straight fairly flat driving with minimal stops. I've been averaging about 17 miles per gallon. I can't complain since they put a...

Not mine, but identical. 1982 Dodge Omni. Bought for $500, sold for $500.

    New Guy Here

I forgot what a turning radius was until I got rid of it. It wasn't a bad vehicle I suppose, it just wasn't meeting my needs. It left me wanting a little more truck and a little more SUV. I figured I'd sell it while resale was still nice and high, and get either an actual truck or SUV. Went...

    New Guy Here

So it's been about two weeks since I bought my 2002 t4r. I ended up selling my Ridgeline when we bought our house and replaced it with the runner. Things I have noticed: Definitely less power than the Ridgeline. Rides a lot rougher, but it is a true truck. Gas mileage is worse, but not by a...

Fair offering price on this 3rd gen??

I don't know what the market is like down there, but up here in the DC metro area, the dealers aren't budging much on price and anything under 10k goes pretty quick. I would say offer them 9500. I just got my 2002 sport for 9800 with a little more miles but it was very clean.

    Looking at this listing

Bought the 2002 with 120k. It's pretty clean. Paid 9800 plus all the typical titling and tagging fees. I also bought a 12 month powertrain warranty for my own piece of mind. I hope to get 250k miles out of it.

    Looking at this listing

I called this morning and the 2002 with 80k miles is sold. Going to check out the one with 120k miles. Hopefully it looks good. I checked the service history and the only issues I found were the cams seals were replaced. Is that of any concern?
