Those brushes didn't look bad to be honest. I pulled those out first thing.

I will update this thread again if anything changes. I always hated when I search a topic and no known fix ever happened. So far so good.

UPDATE: So after a bunch of craziness in 2 different threads. A bunch of tests. A slew of parts. I noticed a low output of the alternator. I went to the junkyard and pulled a unit. Replaced my reman and it looks like that has been my issue. 50 miles in 2 days. Long idle times. Stop and go...

I didn't care about the cost more as the station I got it from is very reputable. The other tank of gas was purchased right around the China Flu deal and most didn't have anything but regular all others out. So I wonder if it was multiple issues at this point.

I needed up putting 93 non ethanol fuel in it to start with. 1 hour of drive and extended idle and no codes. Not out of the woods yet.

What octane fuels do you have in PA ?

Acetone?? I guess I missed that part.

I have to do a bunch of driving before I call it good. After the injectors it ran great for about 20 miles then right back to the same crap. Got to get some windshield time in first.

The reman I took off didn't look that old. The one I pulled from the yard today looked like its been through the ringer so I wasn't real confident. I took the back apart and checked everything out and cleaned it up a bit. Installed and so far its charging much better than the reman.

If I can make it to the gas station its defiantly on the check list !!

With a/c on high headlights on cold 14.34 Ran for 20 minutes same load 13.43 Junkyard I think OEM can't be sure alternator. Reman was in there I didn't notice until after I got it out. No codes yet

Without me losing my mind, things I have not checked. Timing Can somehow the timing be off ? Crank sensor How can I test this part? Bad gas I can't even get it to the gas station but could get 5 gallon can I suppose. Its now on 1/4 tank Maybe a match down that damn tank would fix my...
