Adventure motorcycle for new motorcycle rider

Ok I've given my opinion on what I think you should do to learn how to ride. Now I will give my $0.02 on the XR650L. I hate it! IMHO Honda had the best DS platform with the XR650R, and they dropped the ball. Pisses me off ever time I think about it. A close friend of mine that I raced desert...

Adventure motorcycle for new motorcycle rider

I learned to ride a motorcycle on the MX tracks When I was 8 years old. Went to MX racing school, and became a team sponsored racer by the time I was 10. I'm a firm believer that the best way to learn to ride a motorcycle is to learn off road. Off road you will learn the physics of riding a...

Arizona Trip Report/Vlogs - Lake Pleasant to Sedona

Great write up for sure! I use to ride the back way to Crown King routinely when we lived in North Phoenix, and have even driven it in my stock 2000 Tacoma. It wasnt as rough back in 2000 as it is now. We have a primitive camp spot just past Knoll Lake on the Rim that we use to go to every...

    Rolling Tool Cabinet

For almost two decades I've worked out of a plastic Craftsman tool box for motorcycles and cages. This worked, until it didnt, and became a real PITA. But the birthday fairy, my wife, bought me the solution to end my nightmare. A rolling tool cabinet! It was glorious, until I stepped in front...

Toytec Ultimate Lift Kit: Your thoughts?

Are you running the Superflex or Superflex HD springs in the rear? I chose the standard Superflex with the TT Boss rear shocks. I am gonna go with 275/70 KO2's, and wondering if I will have rubbing issues if I go 2.5" and if the lift will level out if I go 2.5" up front?

Toytec Boss vs Bilstein 6112/5160 setup

This is a bit off topic, but does include Toytec. I decided to go with the Toytec Ultimate 3" lift with the Billy 5100 coilovers and the Superflex springs paired with the TT Boss for the rear. This system will be installed on a new 2017 T4R SR5, so whats you guys take on this system?
