Rolling Tool Cabinet

For almost two decades I've worked out of a plastic Craftsman tool box for motorcycles and cages. This worked, until it didnt, and became a real PITA. But the birthday fairy, my wife, bought me the solution to end my nightmare. A rolling tool cabinet!

It was glorious, until I stepped in front of it and realized. I'm ignorant in the art of organizing a rolling tool cabinet. I mean, I bought some rubber tray lining, and put some tools in it. But I began to wonder what do others do? How do those that have more experience than I, organize their rolling tool cabinet?

So utilizing one of the best features of the Interwebs. I am reaching out to an enthusiast forum. WTF do you guys that have said, rolling tool cabinet do?

BTW, I didnt spend a huge amount of time searching the forum for this specific topic. So if its on here I do apologize in advance for cluttering up the view.

You would probably get a better response in the General Discussion forum off the main T4R page. This isn't really 5th Gen specific.

I use mine mainly for my wrenches. One drawer for my ratcheting set. One for metric and another for standard. Other drawers are used for socket extensions/elbows, various length screwdrivers, socket set/torque wrench and the bottom large drawer is used for various power tools. I guess it's mostly tools I use to wrench on cars. My other tools are organized in tool bags that are in a separate cabinet.

Do you use socket trays for the sockets? And what type of liner are you using?

My socket are part of a large set in its own case and the case fits perfectly in one of the drawers.

I bought a long roll of liner from Amazon.
