I'd let you take mine for a drive before deciding. It's a fun truck. I live in Vancouver,Wa just out of the St. Helens shadow.

No. I had NWTeamYota do the install. I love it. Have already logged thousands of miles all across Washington and Oregon. Great power. Decent mileage. No Hood mods. Had to mod the driveline, tranny crossmember, and engine mounts. Also switched to a v6 5sps from a second gen. with the 3.4 clutch...

Pics of the modded cupholders. They were in it when I bought it. Looks like a cut down set you can get from any department store. There's a screw in the bottom of each cup to hold it solid. I keep the napkins in it to cut down on vibrations. Soaks up spills too!

Painting soon, Clear coat over decals?

That's interesting. That would leave the decals flush with the clear.

Rear suspension lift...already got add-a leaf

If a shackle will soften it up that would be great. The add-a-leaf is kinda harsh and gets hoppy.

Rear suspension lift...already got add-a leaf

So I'm looking into lifting my ride. Gonna go with a 1.5" BJ spacer in the front but want a good option for the rear. I already have an add-a-leaf but don't want to stiffen it up any more. How would a shackle work instead of replacing the entire spring pack? Pictures included to show current...

    '91 4R... i need answers/help

The loud sound when turning to full lock is normal for a toyota. Some well placed grease will solve that for you. Depending on how worn out your engine is...the slow acceleration is normal for a toyota too. But only to a certain extent. It's no sports car. The speed wobbles could be any number...

    Hedman Header 22RE

I'm currently running a Hedman header on my 22re. I've run the NWOR Tri-y header in the past with great results (was on a 91 truck when I got it. I know NWOR's reputation). Just wondering where Hedman stood compared to other 22re headers.

Painting soon, Clear coat over decals?

It's just so easy to add decals and remove them with a body eraser. Thinking about them being under clear coat and having a change of heart would mean mega work to change them ie...sanding and body work. And the edges would be raised in the clear coat all around the decals. I think it would be a...

    1st gen seats.

I squeeze a car seat into the back on a regular basis. It's easier to leave the seat buckled down and just get in the driver seat with my son then turn around and strap him in from the drivers. Kind of a pain in my a** but he loves the exhaust note!
