no grinds, for 90k miles it feels as smooth as a car with 20k.. I live in florida, so the use of engine braking is rarely necessary.. I'm thinking it could just be what the other guy said, needing to be at a certain speed before it will shift into that gear? I'll try that out.. Here's a pic...

yes 2L on the transmission..shifts into all other gears fine..

alright, yea I'm thinking if I replace the master switch with this one I'm watching on ebay it will hopefully work..if it doesnt from there then a wire must be bad. thanks for your help
