    Csv files for Torque app?

I found it easier to just create 2 manually. 1 for torque converter temp and another for transmission pan temp. Here are the inputs if you want them. Torque convertor temp: OD2 Mode and PID = 2182 Long name = Transmission Temp Out Short name = Trans Min Value = 0.0 Maximum Value = 300.0 Scale...

    4WD flashing, crawl illuminated

Start by turning Crawl control and Multi terrain off by pushing the buttons again to disable the lights, then put it back into 2wd and drive forward slowly while turning to the left or right slightly, this will help align the gears and allow the spring pressure of the rear locker clutch to...

    KDSS Polyurethane Bushings

Had to replace the Rubber bushings once a year, finally ended up buying Siberian Poly bushings and they've been decent for 2 years. They also look like they might be in need of replacement soon but I've still got to look more closely. To be fair, my 4Runner gets abused pretty hard and I drive...

Please Help Diagnose!!! Rear Passenger Wheel

My first instinct given the information you've provided would be a small rock stuck between the parking brake pad and the inside of the rotor. Try putting your park brake on lightly and driving backwards to see if you can dislodge it. Worst case scenario, pull the rotor off to inspect. Reasons...

    Atf drain and fill question

Just to clarify, do not pull the fill plug to check level, the trans pan has it's own level plug on the bottom. Remove drain plug, replace when flow stops, add new fluid in the fill plug and tighten, warm trans up to temp and remove the LEVEL plug on the bottom on the pan. When fluid stops...

    Atf drain and fill question

Measure what comes out and add a 1/2 quart more back in, then warm the trans up to temp and remove the level plug. This will drain it to the proper operating level. If nothing comes out when you pull the level plug, add another 1/2 quart and repeat.

Looking at a 2024 trade in, take a chance or run away?

2 main thoughts on this, and every used vehicle purchase for that matter. - A pre-purchase inspection from an independent shop is a must, not just the selling dealers inspection report. - It's common for drivers side needle bearings to fail and need replacement, which would cause a similar...

CarTrimHome TRD Skid install for KDSS

Dude, please don't spam every dead thread about skids plates just to promote your youtube channel. This is the 2nd identical post i've seen in the last 10 minutes that are on posts that have been dead for 2+ years.

    Rigd Supply Tire Carrier

It's a bit of a niche product to begin with, so price point is very important. Anyone who runs 33" or less tires while off roading would be better off using the stock spare storage location. Anyone who runs 34"+ tires while off roading will likely bite the bullet and buy a full real steel...

Failing spc uca ball joints after 2 years

Their latest and greatest is currently sitting in it's box on my garage shelf as the xAxis bushings have now failed in my SPC arms. I switched to the ARB arms for now as a stop gap until I decide if i'm going long travel or not. I'll likely either rebuild the SPC arms and keep them as...

Failing spc uca ball joints after 2 years

You got 2 whole years out of yours? Man, I wish. I went through a set every year for 3 years until I gave up on SPC and went with a completely new UCA from another brand. Got both replacement sets provided by warranty and changed them myself so not a giant deal, but they basically fail after...

Is it possible to cut a access hole for the oil filter

The issue with bolts stripping or being cross threaded isn't a problem with the hardware, or the threaded holes, it's simply a user error problem. Dealerships and quick oil change places are trying to change as many vehicles oil as possible and do not care about your vehicle. If you insist on...

How difficult is a power steering flush for a beginner?

My car was off, i connected my hoses and used my manual suction to pull fluid from the return line as i topped up the reservoir with new fluid. I shoved the hoses into one another and put a rag around the connection to catch any drips. Once the fluid coming out the return line was nice and...

What is best lift for 2024 ORP W/KDSS ?

Man, threads like this make me feel cheap...... I am... and I understand that. I love seeing guys who admit they aren't off roading, just lifting for looks and convenience spend 4-5x the amount of money I spent on a lift that i beat the absolute shit out of off road. Nicely done! That's a...

Does power steering fluid absorb water?

Well if it's OEM fluid, it is actually ATF. Will it absorb moisture - yes Will it still be good 2 years from now - quite likely, yes, as long as it's stored in a reasonably controlled environment like a garage or in your house. The fluid in your vehicle will absorb moisture much faster as...
