I own a '99 limited and the lock cylinder broke off from the two points where it secures itself inside the backdoor garnish piece. Has anyone messed around inside the back door and can tell me how hard it is to gain access to that garnish piece to remove it so I can re secure the lock cylinder?
So I have had my ARB on for a few weeks now and I want to add a winch. I have seen many people weld in a piece of angle iron with a bolt through it to the end of the frame rail to take on the wenching force. What thickness of angle iron should I weld in? I was thinking a piece that is 3/16"...
I own a 99 Limited and am curious if anyone has changed their inner cv boots themselves. If so where can I find clear directions on how to do it myself. Thank you for any advice.
Three days ago I installed Toytecs Ultimate lift and an arb bumper yesterday. I was checks the bolts today and I noticed my cv boots were leaking but no signs of tears. Any advice? Any help would be appreciated.
The problem is I need to get the bumper on there bc I was stupid and didn't really look at the absorber compared to others before I took off the front end plate. So I need a quick fix till I can call and chew someone out.
So I am sitting here trying to install the 95-04 ARB bumper on my 99 Limited T4R. The problem is my my impact asorbers sent by ARB are not the ones I have seen in everyone's pics. I need to know if it will be okay if I cut out this part of the box infront of the frame rail mounts to make it fit?
