    front clip question

My DW just had an accident and pretty much totaled the front of our '99 runner. I'm pretty sure we can fix it but wondering what years would be the same for the front fenders and hood, grille and bumper? Would the p/u be the same also? BTW, she's fine and the bags didn't even deploy. Thanks.

    Power antenna help....please.

Revenge, Interesting article. Some helpful info, but, doesn't say just how to get those POS panel plugs off! I did get one off, then broke 2 more. Was able to get the power wires disconnected which is really all I wanted to do at this time until I can get a price on a new antenna. Looks though...

    Power antenna help....please.

Thanks for the response and info. Looks like I'll be pulling that fender panel to access it. Just wondered if there may have been a relay or something under the hood to make it a bit quicker. As for those clips...from the fender well they are about 1/2" square with a small hole in the center...

    Power antenna help....please.

The cable or plastic in the spool broke yesterday and man! what a racket it makes now. Could someone possibly point me to a possible connection that I could disconnect for the time being, until I can get it repaired? Perhaps a fuse for just the antenna? Can iy be repaired or do you have to...

    Brake job on a '99?

Speaking of OEM...the ONLY brake work done on my Runner, other than just inspections, was at about 5K on the car we came up with warped rotors! Replaced under wty.

    Brake job on a '99?

Uhhh, no, didn't measure them...hell, haven't even pulled the wheels yet. Just thought it would make for a quicker job having everything right on the spot for the job rather than pulling the rotors/drums then running 20 miles to the Zone for turning. What does 'Yota get for pads, opposed to others?

    Brake job on a '99?

Just wanting to pick everyone's brains on any 'how-to's', 'tips', or 'advice' on doing a brake-job myself on our Runner. I've done numerous brake jobs on Chevys in the past but never on anything Oriental. Wondering about anything 'different', other than metric. I plan on new rotors and drums as...

    Rear window de-fog...

quit working awhile back, I've looked for a blown fuse and didn't find any. Now noticing the 3rd brake lite keeps blowing. Tried to look in the harness between the body and hatch for a grounding problem to no avail. FYI, rear window works fine. Any ideas??

How many miles on your 4runner?

190,000 and counting. Wife had to drive 80 miles RT to work, now retired so the miles are slowing down.
