Started getting the dreaded rumble strip shudder a few days ago. Followed this, and after about 15 miles of driving I cannot reproduce the shudder. Thanks for this write-up. I have an 06' V6 4x4 and did this with 203,xxx on the clock. Smooth as butter.

Reviving an old thread, but I came across this when I was researching also. I just put 265/65/18 BFG A/T KO2 tires on my 06 Limited with a 2.5/1.5 Daystar and I get no rubbing at full lock with normal use. No spacers. That said, I did test full lock hopping up a curb and heard a little rubbing...
