I have a limited with the 18" wheels so I went with the LT265/70R18 they are touch under 33"

Nice! I have 18x9 aftermarket wheels and went with 275/65-18 which are a hair over 32". Didn't really see any negative difference in mileage even though they're a little bit heavier.

Coastin to a Coastal
Almost finished with all the welding on my Coastal Off-Road rear bumper. Admittedly, it was a pretty ambitious project seeing how I've literally never welded a thing before yesterday. Lots of hours of YouTube and I'm feeling pretty damn good. Sure, some of the welds were a little ugly but they are strong. That's what an angle grinder and flap wheel are for anyways. I did lay down some good looking welds on the inside that surprised me, so I've got that going for me.
I've only had to grind in a couple spots so far due to fitment issues, and that's entirely on me. Some of these plates are quite heavy to hold with one hand and tack with the other. I bought one of those handy welding magnets, and it's been useful on more than a few pieces. There's some spots it just can't be used though.
Tomorrow I'll finish the welding, and make sure the inside of the bumper that won't be accessible once the last piece is welded on gets a good coating of paint to protect from any rust in the future.
I need to do the swing arm as well. I'm a bit nervous as far as getting everything lined up, but there's a good amount of room for adjustment. I will be meticulous and take my time, it usually serves me well.
All in all, it's been a really fun experience and I'm getting a sweet bumper out of it. With the group buy price, it's almost $2,000 less than going with a CBI. I'll be posting pics once I'm all finished!

Mines on the way, and like you, I have never touched a welder. I will also be taking a leap of faith lol. I’ll keep an eye out for your pics.

Did a transmission drain/fill! Had done one a bit ago after overheating my fluid, so decided it was time to do another to get more of the bad stuff out. (and was able to find Type-IV fluid on Amazon for $6.50/qt!! It's $10-$12/qt everywhere else)
Glad I did. It wasn't as burnt-smelling as last time, but it was still pretty much brown. Gonna do one or two more after a while to hopefully flush the rest of the bad fluid out.

I ran a primary wire from this to the back of the cigarette lighter. I tried a fuse tap on the accessory and that gave me positive, but I couldn't get a good ground around there. I may have been able to if I spent more time, but I wasn't a fan of the fuse tap anyway, and this is working fine.
I use this USB charge for my newly mounted ram mount. It seems like it's way in your face, but I am really pleased and it isn't adding a lot of blind spot.

Took the old girl camping with my son. First time I've driven it more than just local. 200+ miles later pulling a camper the whole time and it ran great. She tows well.

Looks awesome! Which OME lift did you choose? Do you like the ride so far? I don’t have a full OME lift, only their 2895E springs in the rear, but with the Icon 2.0 shocks the ride is fantastic. I have Taco Bilsteins and springs in the front, so I’m sitting a bit lower than yours. I love the overall ride, but was considering doing a full OME, or Dobinson setup at some point just to get a bit more height, mainly in front.
