Try this on the factory radio: Press the AUX button without any device connected to the AUX input. Turn the volume to MAX while the vehicle is rolling. Do you hear a clicking noise that corresponds exactly to the vehicle speed? And stops when the vehicle stops.

Please let me know if your transmission does this. I've never had a vehicle that did until this one. (This is a 2007 SR5 V6 2WD with 24,000 miles.)
- Find a flat, straight section of road with no traffic following you.
- Put it in D (for Drive.)
- Bring the vehicle up to 45 MPH or so...
