Is the rear main seal usually a problem on this engine? Would you rate this as a difficult repair?

Just purchased a 2WD 95 with the 3.0 V6, 85,000 miles. I have a pretty noticeable oil leak which appears to be the rear main seal. Anyone have any feedback on how difficult this repair could be. Once you get the auto trans out, can you replace the rear main seal without pulling the engine? Any...

My 95 has a whistling noise and it is less noticeable if I move the recirculate lever to pull air from the outside.

I recently purchased a 95 4Runner and would like to find a set of stock 15X7 Toyota wheels with tires. I will sell the Enkei rims and tires that came with the truck. Prefer the look of the stock wheel.
