Rear Main Seal Leak

Just purchased a 2WD 95 with the 3.0 V6, 85,000 miles.
I have a pretty noticeable oil leak which appears to be the rear main seal. Anyone have any feedback on how difficult this repair could be. Once you get the auto trans out, can you replace the rear main seal without pulling the engine?
Any help would be appreciated!
