so i lubed up my slip joint in the driveshaft... was really quite easy. i followed the directions here. my shaft must have been really dry, as it took a lot of pumps in to the driveshaft to get any to come out of the seal. i drove it around the block for a while to seat the new grease, and...
good to know.. it took about 12k miles for my last 4runner to start clunking. Cant wait to hear more results.
So this new shaft has fitting to grease? I thought i read a while back in this thread that the lexus shaft didnt have these?
id love to hear about someone with the lexus driveshaft with 5-10k miles on it... sounds like we'll have to wait a while :)

yeah that was an urban runner package with the tom tom.
what i am most curious about is when the 4Runner nav upgraded to more colors on the displays, and some are easier to use the lockout bypass?

i noticed the exact same thing on mine on a recent trip to the mountains. was snowing a lot. mine is an 08, and they were more in the form of circles. was so strange!

anyone notice that you cant choose a V8 for the models anymore?? i was just checking the packages out, and i used a sacramento zip and a reno zip and both were only v6's...
does this work on a sport? anyone done it on a sport? id like to use my yakima parts with their setup on the sport side rails.. i dont need the middle bars on for this..
hey neoflex thanks for the reply... it doesnt look like thats the case here, i torqued all the bolts down to be sure.. it seems like its coming from the seat bottom, or maybe somewhere else all together!
