How did you connect the head unit to the stock amp? With my JBL system I had to get a unique device that goes between the HU and amp:
Metra TYTO-01 JBL Amplifier Interface Harness
This device tells the amp to turn on and sends the audio signal to the amp. It also has a gain control so I'm...
Hey Mach, what did you end up doing?
I'm about to fix the seal myself soon and I'm curious how they knew oil was getting into the actuator from those pictures? the oil I see on the TC I would expect to see (Am I wrong, should there not be oil there?) so how do they know oil got past the shaft...
WOW!! that's amazing, 2 days? Did he already have the design? I can't image him being able to design it, measure, cut it all, weld it, and finish it smooth in two days. Looks great!
Was this worth the upgrade? I have a Viaair now but the H model. It takes me about 15 min to air up my smaller tires 275/70r17 now but will be upgrading to the 34" tires so curious what you think. Everyone gets the dual ARB but I have a hard time with the price. So I like the tank idea.

Seriously? 20mpg?
I got a 2004 v8 4x4 sport @169,000 but my highway mpg is about 14 and in town only 11. I've been trying to find ways to increase that.

Aren't the standard coilovers the same spring rate as stock? I understand what you're saying if you replace the springs for higher rated ones, but then it's more that these shouldn't be used for springs rated over say 600lbs vs COs in general. Sadly, on the tools specs I never see a max spring...
Why do the spring compressors not work on CO?
I thought I'd be able to use one of these to compress the spring, rotate and remove the lower collar, then the spring comes right off. But I haven't tried yet.
