I got the maintenance plan as well when I bought in late July. It basically covers oil changes and fluids for the first 2 years or 25k miles. Not much else covered. Still a pretty good deal. Not many things for free these days.

I agree about the quality of the glass on the windshield. I have less than 3000 miles on mine and it looks like it was sand blasted.
