Probably they figure the majority of people who lift and run bigger tires aren’t on stock wheels anymore.

Should be fine. Pretty sure they recommend a wheel with 4.5 backspacing.

Always have been like this. Have about 4k miles on them now. Running 35 psi.

Love the way they look and they aren't terribly loud, although they do get a bit louder with some miles. My main gripe is they're scary at times in the wet. Unfortunately I live in the Pacific Northwest. I've had it pitch sideways on me a few times turning through wet intersections.
