2022 Lime Rush TRD PRO!

Been a member for a while. Had a 2018 TRD Offroad that I modified and loved then like an idiot sold. Been in a Tesla model 3 for almost three years now, which is an eternity for me with cars. It’s been a great experience but have wanted another 4Runner for some time. Figured, gas is $5.50 a gallon, why not get rid of the EV and get another gas hog? Traded the Tesla for $6k more than I paid for it so not too bad! Waited about 3 months for the lime rush allocation. Thanks to Dick Hannah Dealerships!

Saw my first one in the flesh a few weeks ago. Not as bad as I thought. Not as great as I had hoped. Jury is still out for me on that color.

Looks great! I liked the color better in person than I do in pictures because they vary so much by light and the camera used to take the pictures. I ended up with a black one but the lime green was right up there!
 

I am Toyota Kool-aide drinker . Been drinking it for over 20 years..I sometimes find their color schemes so mundane and appealing to old ladies. With that said I find Lime Rush to be a cool zippy color . Fresh even.

I’ve seen one in person. As stated it does look better live then in photos. But I don’t think I could live with that color very long.
 
A couple guys at work have that color. One on a 4runner, the other on a tacoma. Not bad, but not for me, guess I’m too old.
 
I think the color looks awesome, but I'm with the other poster that at my age I can't be putting around town in a lime green 4Runner. Wife confirmed, I'm too old as well so it must be true.

How do you like the green? Is it too flashy? If I ever got a new 4runner I'd love to get a lime rush one, but they don't seem too popular. I think the color would look great with the standard grille on SR5, but sadly I don't think that will happen with the 5th gen, seeing that the 6th gen is around the corner... Anyways, Congratulations! :lookout:
