I experienced this the other day when I used the 4h. Drove all the way to work with it in 4wd. Then when I slow down to almost a stop and make a turn into the parking space, it hardly wanted to move. I'll look forward to others experiences and thoughts.

This time of year, there might be slim pickings on 2013's. The lowest priced ones around my area are in the $35K range and the dealer will take around $3K off of that to get it in the $32K range. This is about where they were priced in August when I bought mine +/- $1K. If you can't find one...

Makes sense the '14 discounts are sparse. They just hit the dealer lots this past month. Dealers know those looking at them aren't just thinking about buying one. They know they're going to buy one. There's no selling involved. Dealers just have to take the order and not screw something up...

Coming from a Hummer H3 with a 3.5L 4 speed transmission, the V6 with a 5 speed transmission is outstanding. The H3 was geared totally differently too. My experience has been all positive. The 4runner is geared better for everyday driving and has plenty of pep.

A problem I see with the 2014's, is that they are now on dealer lots; and I haven't seen the 2013's being discounted all that much. Strangely, this actually makes me feel better. Because I know I got just as good of a deal in August as I would have if I had waited. Maybe it's not a problem.:nod:

I'm always lowering mine to carry stuff. I thought the play in it was normal. I'll wait to see if anyone finds out differently. I'm not particullary fond of the dealer I bought mine from, and anticipate an aggravating experience if I brought it in. So, I'll live with it, until I find out...

Now at 3,500 miles with with SR5 and averaging 19.6 mpg. My drive is mostly highway, with lots of stop and go and sitting during rush hour traffic both ways. This seems real good considering what my commute is about.
