Well, it may not be the power steering, but I noticed it right after installing the new guide. I may take it apart and grease up the point of contact on the guide to I see if that fixes it.

I did this fixed today and now I noticed a whine from my power steering when turning the wheel. Anybody else have this issue after the guide replacement?

Awesome that’s good to hear. I have the same California emissions on mine. I may have to hack off those cats down the road and put a straight pipe to the muffler.

You’re definitely right with the wheels, it’s more of a luxury and these current tires have decent tread so I’m gonna get what I can out of them. But thank you, I’ll have to subscribe to that channel. Nice, I am from Wichita so not to far off!

If it helps I think im just under $800 for my 4600's on front and back. I still need to do rear springs which will be another $200 but I definitly notice the improved ride with those. Also replacing worn out bushings as someone mentioned is a cheaper way to improve ride quality along with shocks.

Installed some Bilstein 4600’s with moogs on the front and also new inner and outer tie rods saturday. The front is definitely higher than the rear now even with the new shocks in the back so I have some 906’s on the way to even it out. Looking forward to finishing up this suspension work.

Ome trim packer I’ve got some 906’s on the way for 4Runner and I was wondering if anyone knows the part number for the trim packer. I see the have a 10mm and a 5 mm. Thanks

I second what Rdruss said, shouldn’t be a big deal. You could hit it with a wire brush to clean some of that corrosion off.
