Hey all, What exactly happens when I hit the AWD button on my 4Runner? Does it activate a solenoid to engage the front diff or what? Mine currently isn't working but 4HL works fine. So I need to figure out how the system works before I can start troubleshooting.

My rear shocks are too soft and I want to get them revalved. Problem is, I'm having a hard time finding someone local to do it. Bilstein wants $75-100 each according to their website. I'd rather just sell these and buy stiffer ones if that's my only option. Anyone know where I can get a quote...
