well im going have to take a better look . it is just when i disconnected the 89 it was only three plugs to the ecu and two plugs to the body . and the 92 has three plugs to the ecu and four plugs to the body . this is where im having the issue .

i have the wiring harness and the ecu and i still have the donor .. but what i need to know is do i need to keep the harness from the inside of the 89 4 runner . the one under the dash . engine mounts and tranny mounts . no biggy . the eletrical is where i need to here what i need to have . can...

doesnt that drive ya nuts when people have to be disonest .. i got ripped off for 2600 dollars on mine and i got to drive it to work for a day and a half before the engine whent. ill keep my eyes open for sure .. lets hope you get it back .

ok i do have the ecu and the harness from the 89 . but does this meen that i have to keep the harness from under the dash ? . cause i do have the 89 still . its obviouse that the plugs are different but im in the dark when it comes down to knowing if i have to change it all . thanks for your reply .
