I like where you mounted your ghost antenna, was the 12ft cable long enough or did you have to extend it? If you did extend it did that effect the performance? I was going to mount mine on the rear of the rack the route the wires back to the center console, but I don't think I can do that...
Installed my C4 lo-pro w/ Smittybilt X2O, super happy with how it turned out. High clearance bar does not interfere with the radar. It did drop the front end 1/2" - 3/4", adjusted the front suspension. Will drive a few days then double check height followed by an alignment.
I agree with you 100%, it's frustrating they didn't do something with the radar. the bumper choices are very limited for us. I got the C4 Lo-Pro with the tall bull bar, it's supposed to be TSS safe.
very nice work on the box, looks super clean and functional. I love the green but I've always been partial to the Cement and Cavalry, I would have a hard time parting with the blue. Call it Private Ryan or G.I. Jane :)
I'm trying to figure out where to pull power from for the switched and light wire in cab. I'm guessing i'll have to use a t-tap since I can't use the add a fuse. there is only one slot in the fuse box that isn't used and it's not switched. I was also using the guide that was referenced...
I have the Rago panels and shelf, I have several Rago pieces and have been really happy with them for both my 2010 and 2020. Customer services is amazing.
Here's a pic after I finished the install.
Like many have said. The only attraction to the pre-2019 pro is the color. Since you're looking at white and not a specialty color, get the TRD Off-road for much less, with lower miles. You might even find a KDSS TRD and have much better on road handling.
There is a grounding post behind the left tail light inside the panel where the jack mounts. would that not be sufficient to ground the antenna? I don't know much about antennas, I need to learn as well. I just figured any ground that is good enough for my tail/brake lights should be good for...
Factory part #'s for 2020 ORP, I ordered mine from Larry H. Miller Toyota in Colorado. There is a small gap even on the factory part, I looked at a Pro on the lot and it also has the same small gap. The Heritage bar does have a small cut out on the bottom to go around the TSS.
