    Running board fix

Soon after installing the factory running boards, the rubber seal (flap whatever you want to call it) has bent downwards. When looking at the vehicle from the side, you can say light coming through. When i first installed, everything was fine, but after a couple months (maybe it's from those...

    Anyone use AmEx buying program?

I used the Amex program to buy my 4runner at invoice. One of the "Guaranteed Low Price" dealers was an AutoNation Toyota here in South Florida, so I pretty much dealt with the Autonation rep on the phone. Once they located a vehicle being shipped from Japan that met my needs, they took a...

    0w-30

Um, what am I doing wrong? When logging on and reading the Scheduled Maintenance Guide, every 5k miles it says oil change. I'm doing the 1st oil change at 5k regardless, just for peace of mind.

    My 2010 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Build / Mod Thread

Hey, I'm also thinking of getting that Pioneer. Please keep us posted whether the Party Mode switch still works, steering wheel controls for bluetooth (I don't think they will) etc... Also, does the Pioneer have built in XM or sirius? Are you keeping stock speakers, or are you upgrading to add...

    Back up Camera

The part # i believe is 00016-00085. I did not buy the part, but they printed out the directions for me. The dealer said they would install, but they didn't have a price for me on how much the install would be on top of the price of the part. From the directions, all the connectors are...

    Back up Camera

I too was thinking about getting the back up cam installed. The part at the dealership goes for around $625, but they were unclear on how much the install would be.

    Protecting HEADLINER - please help!!

Try using those sticky FedEx packing slips that the shipping labels go into. They're about 5x7 inches and I use them to get pet hair off seats, suits, etc... much better than a lint roller. just peel off the back and slap it all over that headliner

Running Boards cost to order and Bull Guards ?s

It sits high enough when you remove the factory bolts and ratchet in the brackets. It got a little tight once you place the running board on the brackets and go underneath to ratchet them in. If you're not obese or have a chest like Arnold, you'll be fine

Running Boards cost to order and Bull Guards ?s

13mm socket wrench (regular and deep socket). I also used a 12mm socket on removing a couple of the factory bolts from the front bracket where the 13mm socket kept slipping. Oh yeah, and a torque wrench, all bolts need to be tightened to 10 ft/lbs. I didn't use one though, just secured those...

Running Boards cost to order and Bull Guards ?s

Just received the running boards today from the dealer and installed them myself. Took me about 90 minutes on the first side, and only 30 minutes on the 2nd side because after you put the first one on, the 2nd one goes much quicker. Somebody mentioned it before, the installation...
