Moog springs I went with the 81041 and had to use 1.5" spacers to match the 81088 in the front. Maybe I should have gone with the 81043?

SR5 leather Here's a couple of the 2000 SR5 with dealer installed leather seats.

Cv boot I debated this as well. Once you think it through, it makes more sense to replace the axle. Axles are less than $50 and require about the same amount of labor.

It's high in my opinion. If it was 4wd it would be fair. The mileage is very low, but it's still a 2003 RWD.

Utility trails I was told about a trail near me that's used by the utility company to service transmission lines. This was my 2000 4runner's first serious off-road challenge. I was totally impressed by how capable it is. Only lift mods are 99 talls front and rear with 1.5" spacers in the rear...

I may try it. The issue I see is with the dried toyota seals. They are more like bakelite at this point, and I'm not confident that they will absorb anything. As far as the quotes being high, I guess it's the area. All three are small shops known for being reasonable.

I would go ahead and add $1000 to the purchase price. Suspension, bushings, fluid changes, brakes, etc. A twenty year old vehicle will need some tlc. Worth it in my opinion.

I don't think I would want to add 500lbs to the front. That would have to throw off the balance of the 4runner.

is300 . probably a 2017 to stay within budget. Lexus quality and reliability are incredible.

I only replaced the inner and outer seals. Fixed my leak for now. It's a good time to replace the rear diff fluid and rear brakes. If you do the rear brakes I would also replace the cylinders.
