Hello all,

New to the Forum and to 4runners. Just came from a 3" lifted subaru on 30s and im enjoying my 4runner very much. Currently stock height (OME 890s on the way) and 5100s all around with 265/75 wildpeaks.

Hopefully a winch coming soon as well as the rest of my lift. I use the car mainly for exploration and any off-road trails I encounter are just an added bonus

Was in a real bad motorcycle accident that has made riding street/dirt bikes a no go for at least a couple few years, so figured I’d return to a old hobby to help pass the time.

Passing time, I was flipping through a old photo album and came across my old rig that lit a fire in me.

So this is where my story 3rd Gen T4R begins.

Lucked out and scored this 96 SR5 for $600. Good bones to start with as the price was right, was unbelievably rust free for a west coast yota and it has the 3.4

Now being my first post, I’m still figuring my way around the forum. If someone could point me in the direction for steering component mods for a 4” lift retaining the IFS setup, I’d greatly appreciate it.

It will eventually get a SAS, but in due time.

They’re American Eagle 185 wheels. Think this model is discontinued though. No wheel spacers, just backspacing (4”) and offset (-11mm)

Here is my 99 Limited as I bought it a couple of weeks ago. I have lots of work to do such as fixing the paint on the hood and getting the interior in better condition.

Next I'd like to get a roof rack, ladder, and a light bar.
