Sure is. I had to work my butt off at McDonald's for my first car. It was a 1980 Toyota pickup (this was in 1995) covered in rust and falling apart and had over 300k miles. Took me a while to get the $300 to buy it from my neighbor. Got paid $4.25/hour back then.

Thanks for your suggestion. I actually did not see any real reviews for that one. Just someone saying it did not fit their Tacoma. Maybe that's the one I should try. It's really not that important that I have to replace some cheap pin every couple of years. I just don't want to be stuck...

Exactly what I'm trying to avoid. I looked up most of the pins recommended in this thread and I see so many reviews saying they are crap. I'm starting think there is not a good one anywhere.

Under the seat is definitely my first choice, but I don't think there is a way to do it without limiting the seat position. I don't feel comfortable with it under the driver's seat, so it would need to be on the passenger side. My wife is short and I don't think it would work too well. It's...

One of the big reasons I went with slumberjack instead of a roof rack awning is the ability to also use it without my truck. There are times when I'm at a camping spot where it's not possible to have my truck close by, so I can set up the SJ on it's own.
