What did I bend behind my skidplate?

I noticed a part of the underbody of my 2003 4runner is bent down. Is this something that can be easily fixed? <a href="https://ibb.co/nzfFtMD"><img src="https://i.ibb.co/3BWnQm0/79b375c596d6c87855f95a5a59ac967e.jpg" alt="79b375c596d6c87855f95a5a59ac967e" border="0"></a> <a...

    Engine Noise in aftermarket stereo

To connect the Pioneet head unit to the oem JBL amp I used a Metra TYTO-01 JBL Amplifier Interface Harness. I tried my best to correct the rats nest of wires that the "pro" installer had in the dash from my previous head unit upgrade. They didn't use any connectors at all, just pigtail twisted...

    ***Cracked Dashboard Action Request***

I asked my local dealer in Chicago how much to replace the dash (now that it's no longer free), and he gave me a price of $600 or so. Main reason is, the process is super labor intensive, at least a couple hours to disassemble everything and reassemble.

    Engine Noise in aftermarket stereo

Ok so let's assume for a second that I do as you suggest and the noise goes away. Does this mean that the amp is bad and I need to replace it? If I need to replace it, what kind of amp would i buy to replace it? I like the front center and rear pillar tweeters as I feel it makes for a more...

    Engine Noise in aftermarket stereo

When I installed the head unit I used a wiring harness adapter to connect to the factory harness as you said. The ground wire is connected to whatever the original ground was. I thought that may not be enough so I added another wire from the engine bay to the head unit (because I that was the...

    Engine Noise in aftermarket stereo

Well I'm using the factory amp which I've never adjusted. The head unit has an EQ but not gains. Also wouldn't that result in the same noise through all the speakers? I replaced the sub and added a sub amp, but the sub amp wouldn't cause a buzz in the regular channels i don't think.

    Engine Noise in aftermarket stereo

wouldn't the noise rise and fall when I rev the engine if the noise came from the alternator? My noise is a constant level regardless of what the engine or music is doing, which would indicate to me it has something to do with an electrical current that's constant (like low voltage going through...

    Engine Noise in aftermarket stereo

I have the v6 so the guess about right/left wasn't it. I thought of something else though... maybe when I installed the door speakers, the factory wire got frayed somewhere and is now touching bare metal. The noise seems to only originate from the front right speaker (I'll have to check this...

LED mod for 12-Pin turn signal flasher relay w/DRL

Don't bother. You will find a 12-pin relay and no way to swap it for an aftermarket model. The only options you have are: 1) use regular blinker bulbs, and LEDS for everything else in the truck 2) use resistors 3) Crack open the factory 12-pin relay and monkey with the metal bar in there to make...

Change bulb for light around ignition

Is there a way to change the light bulb which illuminates the ring around the ignition? (lots of posts about chaning interior lights to LEDs but I couldn't find anything specifically about the ignition light. Mine is very faint. See picture for an example of what I'm talking about (I just...

    Running Board light socket part#??

Correct part number is: 90075-60059 as stated in the linked thread, there isn't an actual part number for the light socket in the running boards found on 2003 limited models. However, the socket is identical to the socket used in the SR5 models rear center tail light. That part is 90075-60059...

LED mod for 12-Pin turn signal flasher relay w/DRL

Why isn't there a 12-pin LED flasher relay that we can just plug and play like all the other flasher relays out there? I can't believe to fix this we have to crack open the stock relay and break out the soldering iron. You're telling me NO ONE has made a part I cant just plug in??
