I had one of these. It was quite a bit bigger than the stock shifter and appeared out of place in my 4R; so I got rid of it. It would have been good for a Tundra. But...maybe they come in different sizes.

Does the pro rack create wind noise?

I drive in deep desert sand a lot, not beach sand. I often don't have to air down my KO2s at all which are usually at about 40lbs. I would suggest that you just air down to about 30 and be on the safe side. You can then tell if you need to go a bit lower. I would never go to 15. You never know...

I have the metal key hidden underneath the 4Runner. I got an extra one made up at the dealer. Inside I have a FOB which I keep in a Faraday pouch that blocks RFID signals, and I also have the FOB switched off. So, if I lose the FOB I can get the hidden metal key, open the door and get the FOB...

I assume a decrease in gas mileage is to be expected? Any ideas how much of a decrease? Also, how does one get this installed? Do you have to take it somewhere special? No, I wouldn't attempt it myself. Any added maintenance issues?

The older I get, the less effort I want to put into fancy eating and the gear one has to carry to fix it. For me a decent cup of coffee in the boonies entails boiling some water and dropping in instant Starbucks, which comes in different strengths to suit your taste.

My '21 Venture doesn't have KDSS

Stock size C load KO2s on my 4R. No problem balancing.

Check how big it is. Some of these shift knobs that are advertised for Tundras as well as 4Rs are bigger than stock and look too big on a 4R, IMO.

A TRD Pro doesn't have KDSS; so what is it like in lateral Gs? Or does it have a suspension that compensates for no KDSS?
