All I’m saying is that nothing comes close in price or build quality and it has heritage behind it as well
I really don’t care about what people think/say ever :guitar3:
If I did I would have never bought my 88 e30 m3 for $3500 or my 88 Porsche turbo S for $2800 because people said why do want an old sports car???
I think I’m fine but just don’t get all the negative rhetoric

Pardon the tangent but in what world did you find an e30 m3 and an 930 turbo for that price?? Were they rusting in a junk yard? Those are some of my top all time favorite cars.

As for the pro rack, I find the cul-de-sac looking head piece a little too awkward to justify the immediate sacrifice in height. Any lift and you may be parking your ride outdoors. With that said, I’m glad it attracts some people as it allows some of us poor Californians to recuperate some cost after being reamed by the TRD mark-up.

Bought the e30 m3 on eBay! 21years ago From Cali but now it has full body glass out repaint by vsr of New Hampshire
The Porsche was from my lawyer who’s girlfriend drove it not knowing how to drive a stick hit a guardrail his insurance company refused to payout he sued 9 years later it was just an eyesore of a beat up used car that pissed him off over his loss I walked in to his office as he got the final blow threw him a Hail Mary and scored!!!
best thing is it had 36k and all body panels were fixable
Lucky also I bought my 72 240z from a distant relative for 2500 10 years ago but just sold due to rona $$$ issues miss it but I’ll recover this spring again lol :lmao:

I added the Toyota factory Rock Rails and the size and finish of the bars match up perfectly with the TRD PRO basket. I think it balances it all out imo

I had an FJ with the same style rack. I kept it on my FJ because I liked the look and think it looks good on the Runner. I dropped in a BajaRack basket that perfected the look and functionality. Used it to haul all kinds of stuff and cheaper than completely replacing the rack.

Different strokes I guess.

Baja makes a drop-in basket for the Pro rack now too. I’m thinking about getting it. Did you by any chance use Baja’s cargo/ski box mounts with yours? Could not find any reviews of these and interested in others’ experience with them.

Baja makes a drop-in basket for the Pro rack now too. I’m thinking about getting it. Did you by any chance use Baja’s cargo/ski box mounts with yours? Could not find any reviews of these and interested in others’ experience with them.

I personally have not heard any wind noise on mine. I rarely go faster than 70-75 mph though, so I'm not sure at higher speeds

The basket looks nice. If you actually use it then keep it. But if it is just there for looks, ditch it. The roof rails are more useful and they will not interfere with parking garages.
