Hi - I'm getting a white residue on my exhaust. Google search gives me varies answers from HG/coolant to fuel quality. Has anyone experienced this before? I have an 06 with no indication of HG issues.

I just sliced up a mouse pad to line the cup holder. It works reasonably well considering time and cost spent.

dumb question - is slight rubbing ok when spinning the tire checking for frozen calipers?

I called the dealer back to confirm if the part does exist for my 4th gen. Turns out he ordered a seal for a Camry. :faint2: He said I was SOL unless I wanted to order a new cowl at $400. Ending up finding one at a Salvage yard at car-parts.com.

Thanks. I called my local Toyota today and he identified it as a cowl seal. It's available separately on the 5th gens but like you said its sold together with the cowl for 4th gens. He said a seal was available but is back ordered 20 days. Hopefully the part does exist. Thanks for your help!

Its up to you if the ease of setup, take down, and view is worth the cost, and reduction in mpg. If you're doing long-ish overlanding trips with a new location nightly it may be worth the cost. For weekend truck camping its probably not. It's also not ideal if you go camping with dogs.
