So recently my key fob won't lock the drivers door when I push the lock button. It will lock the others, but it doesn't "beep" and the drivers side door stays unlocked. I have to manually lock it, then if I hit the lock button again it will beep and the headlights will go off like normal. Also...

Awesome thank you both. And yes, DX Engineering is no doubt a great company. I get most of my HAM radio equipment there, as I'm still setting up my base station. I might try a shorter (3') antenna as well just to see how things work out. I will keep you posted how it goes!

Update: I talked to Troy at DX Engineering where I bought the original mount from, and they gave me an adapter part number for the mount/antenna combo. He said the paint would have to be sanded down where the set screws attach to provide ground. I asked for recommendations for a spring to attach...

Hoppy did that mount include a ground? Sounds like I need to have a ground plane somehow integrated to make my firestik 2 work. I'm not opposed to getting a different antenna or mount if need be, but this time I want to make sure I get the right things so I don't end up here asking what the hell...

First mod on this build, Method 305's and BFG's. Interior mods on the way, but the next major items will be an OME lift, dual swing arm rear bumper, probably the roof rack after that. Hopefully it's a productive summer!!!

Got my Method 305's and BFG T/A KO2's put on the other day. Next is an OME 2-3" lift kit, then a dual swing rear bumper (not sure which yet); a few minor internal mods on the way too, but I don't want to spoil any surprises :)
