We did the back first because they're the most work and sure enough, they were toast at 140k miles (about 1mm left). Took a front wheel off and the pads looked great, at least 5+mm left of wear so we just left them. Is it normal to have such high wear on the back pads? I don't do any towing...

Would the 4th Gen running boards fit on a 2011? Selling mine and a guy wants to know. Tominabox1

Just got an estimate of the repairs...to the tune of $1,600. Good thing I have insurance :( :( :(

Well I was going up a hill and the cutoff was too steep so I hit the undercarriage so I stopped and started going back down and apparently I had turned the wheel because I was coming down right next to the tree - it missed the whole back of the truck luckily but there was no way it could clear...

Well that was an epic failure :( I messed up big time folks. Basically I hit a tree and scraped/dented up the drivers side door and busted the mirror. As for off roading, I'm done... Anybody got a drivers side mirror they want to give me? Or maybe a fender flare? Or a drivers side door?

Hate to resurrect a long since dead thread but has anybody been to Badlands with a 4Runner and taken pictures since? I'm headed there this weekend and I'd love to know what they have out there now that'd be good for stock 4th gen... Thanks

Well since it looks like nobody's going to be able to make it (maybe May!), i have some questions about Badlands - do they have spotters and stuff along the trails if I were to go without a group? Do they give you a tow rope as well in case you get stuck?

One more time... this Saturday - Badlands Park... Really wish somebody familiar with our trucks could meet me there! Please?!

I have a hitch one that fits the factory hitch on the '05. I'm not sure if it'd fit yours. I'm also not sure I can sell it but I'll let you know this week.
