Yep, taken all those roads! & yes, you're right about the conditions, see it all, ice, deep, slush heavy/light... I'm at the back edge of Serene Lakes. So most of my clearance issues are pre-plow in mornings or late evenings from old 40 to my garage

FYI this is an updated CVT which is supposed to be much better. I appreciate the fact many will not like it, but there's nothing slow about this car with a 0-60 time of 6.2 that blows everything in its class away. Also combined MPG of 25 is impressive. Requires super unleaded though...nets...

I meant regular snow as snow/ice covered roads, but plowed w/ <5" on road. I'm assuming the subaru AWD system is better in these conditions than the 4R. The reason I'm leaning towards the TE vs. the Limited or SR5 is primarily for the locking rear diff which I believe will help in the deep snow...
