Yeah I will try to record it again this time only in the cabin. If it helps, I think this started because I hit a really nasty pothole on the highway.

Hello all, I was referred here from /r/4runner. I have a 1999 highlander edition MT. Recently it has started to make a popping noise sometimes and I have no idea what it is. I recorded it driving around a parking garage ( weird sound - Clyp ). It's best heard at 00:48, 00:53, and 1:46 onwards...

How rare is the e-locker MT combo?

Looks mean! I have a black 1999 Highlander MT with the locker. I'm thinking of deleting the running boards and going to a slightly bigger tire size.

265/75/r16 Stock suspension. no rubbing

Any reason why you want to have the MT? I have the MT and it's such a slow vehicle. The distance between shifting gears takes forever and with the weight of the vehicle it takes a while for it to get going.

Any mods yet?

Bump but try putting your weight down on the hatch, then grabbing the handle to open the trunk.
