    installed OME 906 rear coils

Glad to see the tread is still alive. Yes the left side sits about a half inch higher. I have no idea why. I loved the setup with the 906's. Definitely better that the HD OME's as far as ride and I didn't want a huge lift for my wife to complain about. I sold my 4Runner about 8 months ago. At...

Upper BJ Snap Ring Not Seating

R&R Upper and Lower Ball Joints - TTORA Forum I just did mine this past week. I used a 3 arm puller rented from autozone after snapping an arm off the cheap harbor freight 3 arm puller. I had an old ball jnt press which would not work because of clearance issues with the spindle arm. BUT, I was...

    installed OME 906 rear coils

Ride height has not dropped a bit. Granted, I haven't carried any significant load or towed anything. The ride is slightly firmer than my '99 coils, but it corners well......much better than stock (firm, planted, much less body roll) Really I should say it corners as well as a 2 ton SUV can...

    Idle help

I cleaned my TB when I did the t-belt service......although my problems were with higher idle speeds that would not come down after warm up. Answer was a stuck idle air control valve. It seems some carbon leaked into this valve during cleaning and mucked up the valve. This valve allows air to...

    Swagman bike rack (pics)

working out pretty good. I haven't been able to ride as much as i'd like, but that's another story. my only complaint is that it's a bit heavy and awkward, but that's only because it's so well built.

    New front carpet

Ha ha ha ~ sarcasm. Yes the color is a bit Shagtastic, but at least the truck doesn't smell like ass anymore. Fit was decent. When i first pulled it out the box, I had my doubts. But when I started to install, it came together nicely. It's much thicker than stock.....almost shag like j/k. This...

Yeah i replaced mine when i purchased it casue the prior owner was a chain smoker with sasquach as a pet (hair everywhere). All the steam in the world wouldn't have helped.

looking back.... I thought i's never finish. I started in 05/09 and finished 02/10. I'm a internal medicine resident, so i don't have too much time on my hands.......the hardest part? putting it back together when i took it apart so long ago....... so for the cam and cranks seals. I tried...

    Swagman bike rack (pics)

I know this should be in general gear, but gotta let my 3rd gens see first. It's a pretty hardy 3 -bike rack for less than 100 bucks shipped that: 1) you can still tow with rack on hitch 2) may outlast both my bike and 4runner -> solid 3) tilts so you can open the hatch without moving anything...
